While those expectations are known, perhaps no one knows it more than quarterback Arch Manning, who dealt with unfair, and, oftentimes, unfair, expectations placed on him as a first-time full-year starter after abiding his time in the program. "I think the team responds really well to Arch; he loves football, he loves to practice," Sarkisaid said of his quarterback. The intensity is ramped up, and with the physicality increasing as well, Manning is loving every minute of it. "He and Colin [Simmons] were getting into it about a screenplay today," Sarkisian continued about how Manning's competitive drive has ignited during camp. "It was all out of fun, but you can see they are loving practice; they are all loving practice, and that starts when the quarterback loves practice and when he is having fun out there."
