Strong says he reached out to Zuckerberg after taking on the role. The Social Reckoning, releasing in movie theaters on October 9, sees former Succession star Jeremy Strong taking over the role of Mark Zuckerberg from Jesse Eisenberg, who earned himself an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his performance in The Social Network. Jeremy Strong says he attempted to reach out to Mark Zuckerberg after agreeing to play him in The Social ReckoningDuring a recent interview with GQ, Strong said that he emailed Zuckerberg after agreeing to take on the role of the controversial billionaire. The Social Reckoning will be released in movie theaters in the United States on October 9.
