Basildon Council will start collections from 6.30am on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 August to protect crews working in high temperatures expected to reach 33C.
A spokesperson for Basildon Council said: "In response to extreme temperatures, we are temporarily adjusting our waste collection service to reduce the impact of working during the hottest part of the day.
The council is the fourth in the region to bring forward collections, following decisions by Southend, Castle Point and Thurrock.
Neighbouring areas such as Brentwood and Chelmsford are under an amber extreme heat warning from the Met Office.
The UK Health Security Agency has also issued an amber heat health warning for the East of England, warning of a potential "rise in deaths."
