Trey BurnettSeward County Community College women’s basketball head coach Antwain Scales announced the hiring of assistant coach Shomari Harris on Monday. Harris joins the Saints coaching staff after multiple years with the Wichita State women’s basketball program. She joined the Shockers in 2024 as a graduate assistant and was eventually elevated to Player Development Coach during the 2025-26 season. Harris served as an assistant coach at NJCAA program Kilgore College during the 2023-24 season, helping the Rangers to a 19-13 record. Harris received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M-Commerce (Now East Texas A&M) in 2017.
