The deceased, said to be a well-known gold dealer in the area, was last seen on August 5, 2026, according to family sources. An eyewitness, Samuel Akwasi Mensah, told the DAILY GUIDE that Nana Appiah was a familiar face among gold dealers and traders in the area. Obuasi and its surrounding communities host a large number of miners and gold dealers, making security a major concern for people engaged in the business. The police have appealed to anyone with information that could assist in establishing the circumstances surrounding Nana Appiah’s death to come forward and support the investigation.
