PS5-exclusive open-world samurai simulator Ghost of Yōtei is getting an expansion that will add a new location and survival mode to the game. On August 12, PlayStation and Sucker Punch announced Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara, a new paid expansion that will be released on October 1. Also included in Echoes of Sekigahara is a new single-player combat survival mode, which Sucker Punch calls its “spin on a roguelike.” In this mode, players will accept bounties to start new runs and take down enemies to earn perks and unlock new playable characters. “Thank you again to everyone for an amazing year since Ghost of Yōtei launched,” said Sucker Punch.
