Dad organises 100-mile run in memory of son who died from meningitis

Aaron Mills, an 18-year-old student at Liverpool John Moores University, died on January 3 while home for Christmas. The run will raise awareness and funds for Meningitis Now, a charity the family has supported since Aaron’s death. Participants will stop at Wolverhampton University, Harper Adams, Reaseheath College, Chester University, and Liverpool John Moores. Staff and students from Liverpool John Moores University will join for the final stretch to the Shankly Gates. A recent charity football match in Aaron’s memory raised £15,000 for Meningitis Now.
