A car was engulfed in flames on an Aberdeen street on Tuesday night due to a mechanical fault. Emergency services were called to Riverside Drive at around 11.08pm after reports of a vehicle on fire. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent one appliance to the scene. It is understood that the fire was caused by a mechanical fault.
