WORTHINGTON — For Jesus Ordaz, the American dream started in the basement of his grandparents' business, Telvis Store.
That basement served as the home of New Gen Studio for about two and a half years.
The American Dream logo Forum News Service“My mom was pretty upset and told me to never cut his hair again,” Ordaz joked.
That sense of community became especially important when the COVID-19 pandemic forced New Gen Studio to close.
One of the benefits of owning a business, Ordaz said, is the ability to spend time with his family.
