New figures from Ski Famille show Teesside International Airport recorded 78 per cent of flights arriving or departing on time during the first quarter of 2026. Teesside Airport recently announced the return of a third daily flight to Amsterdam Schiphol, giving North East passengers even greater access to international onward connections. Teesside airport has ranked in the top 20 for flight punctuality in a new study. Another North East hub shone in the rankings, with Newcastle Airport sharing first place with Liverpool John Lennon Airport - both recording 82 per cent of flights on time. Meanwhile, Manchester Airport finished bottom of the table with just 68 per cent of flights arriving or departing on schedule.
