Student Olivia Hailes, 20, of Ratcliffe Avenue in Ryde, died abroad on April 6. Court heard she was on holiday and was found unresponsive in her hotel room. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, she died in the early hours, court heard. A post-mortem was carried out and a provisional cause of death was given to be unascertained. Coroner Caroline Sumeray passed her condolences to Olivia's family and adjourned the inquest to the provisional date of February 12, 2027.
