Kevin Giddens, of Josephs Way in Shanklin, appeared before the IW Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 11. The 60-year-old faces one count of assaulting a female by penetration and four counts of sexual assault. It is alleged that between 1 January and 9 September 2025, Mr Giddens kissed and sexually touched a woman without her consent. He is also accused of penetration without her consent during the same period. Mr Giddens did not enter any pleas and the case was sent to the IW Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 14.
