Officer Mike Alquist was arrested in Pearl River, Louisiana Tuesday, charged with injuring public records. Alquist was an officer in Pearl River from April 2016 to May 2025 before becoming a Picayune officer in March. Chief Quave shared that the Pearl River Police Chief and Captain Gerald Young met with him in July, referencing Alquist speaking negatively about the Pearl River Department.
