The popular Sk8 Jam 4 Sam returns for its fifth year.
The skating competition at Stratford Skate Park Sept. 26 is held in honour of the late Sam Beauchamp, a local skater known for creating art, supporting events, filming clips, and encouraging others.
Proceeds go towards Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth.
Organizer Brendon Whetham said Beauchamp was diagnosed with brain cancer, and received end of life treatment from the local hospice before he died, age 27.
“It feels good for them, they see that Sam lives on through his skateboarding and his art.”
