The fact that Severance season 3 is still in pre-production makes it unlikely that it will be released on Apple TV+ before 2027. The production update suggests that Severance will continue following its trend of leaving massive gaps between each season, which could significantly hurt its reputation. However, since Severance season 2 brilliantly managed to make up for the long gap after season 1, it is hard not to believe that season 3, too, will manage to achieve the same.
