He said the BRS would continue the eye-care programme in Rajanna-Sircilla district irrespective of whether the government implemented it. The BRS working president said the programme would subsequently be extended to all four mandals and municipalities in the Sircilla Assembly constituency and later to the Vemulawada constituency. Rama Rao distributed the spectacles and took responsibility for all 171 patients who required cataract or other eye surgeries.
