Rochester, N.Y. — Action for a Better Community, Inc. (ABC) will bring together Rochester-area families, community organizations, and public officials for its 2026 Community Action Day Celebration on Friday, August 14, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Parcel 5, 285 East Main Street in downtown Rochester. “Community Action Day reflects the power of organizations, residents and local leaders working together to help families access opportunities and overcome barriers,” said Jerome Underwood, president and CEO of Action for a Better Community. “We invite the entire Rochester community to join us for an afternoon of resources, entertainment and connection.” Community Action Day will also feature live music, youth and dance performances, family activities, face painting, raffles, and appearances by local sports mascots.
