The third edition of the Atlanta Art Fair (October 1–4) will feature upwards of 67 galleries, convening at Pullman Yards, a 27-acre former rail works in the Kirkwood district. The fair is organized by AMP (Art Market Productions), which also organizes the Seattle Art Fair, Art on Paper, and San Francisco Art Market, and is under the leadership of director Kelly Freeman and artistic director Nato Thompson. “We’re thrilled to bring the third edition of Atlanta Art Fair to life, continuing our community-centered approach as we build our most ambitious edition yet,” Freeman told ARTnews. Many hometown galleries will return, including Fay Gold Gallery, Jackson Fine Art, and Marcia Wood Gallery. But the city’s cultural infrastructure remains, including institutions like Atlanta Contemporary, the High Museum of Art and the Michael C. Carlos Museum of Art at Emory University.
