A 36-year-old truck driver, Moses Ogundina, on Wednesday appeared before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing a truck valued at N250 million.
Ogundina, whose residential address was not provided, is standing trial on a three-count charge of conspiracy, stealing and unlawful damage.
The prosecutor, SP Josephine Ikhayere, told the court that Ogundina and others still at large committed the offences on April 15, 2025, at GPC Energy and Logistics, Oregun, Lagos.
The prosecutor alleged that the defendant stole a truck with registration number MNG 229, valued at N250 million, belonging to GPC Energy and Logistics.
Ikhayere also alleged that Ogundina unlawfully and maliciously damaged 900 bags of flour when 180 packs of drugs were transported in the truck, contaminating the Flour Mills Nigeria products.
