Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau has congratulated youths on the occasion of the 2026 International Youth Day, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to youth inclusion, empowerment and participation in governance. “The theme of this year’s International Youth Day, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” provides an important opportunity for governments, communities, development partners, and young people to reflect. “I pledge my unwavering commitment to creating an enabling environment where Plateau youths can acquire relevant skills, access local and global opportunities and develop entrepreneurial capacity. Mutfwang acknowledged challenges confronting young people, including unemployment, limited access to economic opportunities, skills gaps and pressures associated with a rapidly changing global economy. “On behalf of my family, the government, and the peace-loving people of Plateau, I wish all Plateau youths a happy and meaningful day.”
