Aden — France has strongly condemned the latest attacks carried out by Iran‑backed Houthi militias on the Yemeni cities of Mokha, Marib, and Hadramout, which resulted in casualties including civilians and targeted civilian facilities and infrastructure.
French Ambassador to Yemen, Catherine Corm‑Camoun, said she took part in a meeting chaired by Presidential Leadership Council President Rashad Al‑Alimi to discuss the recent escalation.
She reaffirmed France’s condemnation of the attacks and expressed solidarity with the Yemeni government, extending heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.
Corm‑Camoun stressed that the Houthi escalation poses a grave threat to Yemen’s crisis, undermines regional stability, and obstructs peace efforts.
She reiterated France’s full support for the Yemeni government and people, emphasizing the need to halt such attacks and advance toward a sustainable political solution.
