Arc-Tech (Scotland), a firm focused on mechanical, electrical and renewable building services, will take on six new apprentices across its electrical and plumbing trades in August 2026. All of this year’s apprentices have secured permanent roles with Arc-Tech, a full retention rate the company credits to its focus on training and mentorship. The apprentices, aged between 17 and 19, will combine on-site experience with college learning, working towards industry-recognised qualifications. John Gallacher, managing director of Arc-Tech (Scotland), said: "From day one, we made a conscious decision to invest in our people, and that hasn't changed as we've grown. Founded in 2016 with a small team, Arc-Tech now employs 120 people and turns over more than £35 million annually.
