Organised by the Netherholm Area Association and Thenue Communities, part of Thenue Housing, the event concluded an exciting season of family-friendly activities. Netherholm Hall, established in 2018 after a major community effort to create a neighbourhood hub in Castlemilk, has been central to this summer’s activities. Donna Henderson, chief executive of Thenue Housing, said: "It was great to see so many families enjoying the event. "It remains an essential community hub which is a focus for a host of activities throughout the year and is much valued by the many residents who use it." Ruth Adam, community regeneration manager at Thenue Housing, said: "The gala day was a fitting conclusion to an exciting summer of family-friendly activities as part of the Commonwealth Festival designed to involve communities everywhere.
