Whitelee Wind Farm Visitor Centre will be selling the glasses at £1 per pair from 3pm today, limiting sales to one per person or two per family. Sales are on a first come first serve basis, however, given health officials' advice not to watch the entire event, the hope is that watchers can share the glasses. If weather permits it, Glaswegians will be able to see the eclipse at 7pm tonight as the moon covers 90% of the sun when seen from the UK. The wind farm can be found on Moor Road in Eaglesham, just off the B764.
