The pole, spanning 22.5m, would be planted behind the storefronts of Gleddoch Road in Penilee on a patch of grass directly beside Penilee Park and its adjacent football pitch. The application submitted to Glasgow City Council on behalf of Northern Ireland based company Jet Infrastructure who specialise in the installation of these kinds of communications towers.
