(Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump has asked a federal appeals court to pause a judge's order imposing sanctions on him and his lawyers for how they handled his $10 billion lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service while he appeals that ruling. Trump had sued the IRS earlier in the year, seeking to hold the agency liable for a leak of his tax information several years ago. In May, the Justice Department announced it had reached a settlement with Trump to end the case that included the creation of a nearly $1.8 billion fund for victims of alleged government "weaponization."
