The USTA will host its inaugural “Coaches Open” conference in New York City later in August, a new initiative featuring keynote talks from tennis legend Billie Jean King and Olympic gold medallist Dawn Staley as well as on-court coaching sessions at the iconic Louis Armstrong Stadium.
The Coaches Open also coincides with the one-year anniversary of USTA Coaching’s founding, an initiative aimed at expanding and strengthening tennis coaching across the country.
Other sessions will cover performance analytics, AI-driven coaching, and the USTA Coaching App.
In addition to development opportunities and keynote addresses, the Coaches Open aims to give back to tennis coaches through other activities, including a trade show and an innovation showcase.
The upcoming conference is open exclusively to registered members of the USTA Coaching community.
