Police in the Bronx are investigating a two-alarm fire at a store on Tuesday night that left a worker burned after witnesses say an unidentified suspect threw a lit object into the establishment. Approximately 141 FDNY and EMS personnel responded to the blaze, the Fire Department said, before it was quelled just before 11:15 p.m. Tuesady. EMS rushed him to Jacobi Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. FDNY sources reported that initial 911 calls stated a lithium-ion battery had burst into flames. However, witnesses told officials on scene that an object had been thrown.
