Jamaican dancehall star Busy Signal jetted into Malawi on Wednesday for a charity mission under his Busy Global Initiative, teaming up with the Wendy Harawa Foundation to support education projects in Dowa and Lilongwe. “Malawi shows so much love to me,” he said. “All the times I’ve been here, I remember it like yesterday. Busy Signal will help fund the construction of a school library in Mponela, Dowa, and provide support to Nkomachi Primary School in Area 49, where classroom blocks have broken window panes and urgently need repairs. Wendy Harawa said the partnership would make a meaningful difference for children facing barriers to education, adding that the initiative would improve learning conditions and expand access to essential resources.
