The Love Tranent contest encouraged residents to look at nature in the town and take photos using only their mobile phones. Russell McLarty, chair of Natural Connections Charity, was thrilled with the event's success, which launched at the same time as a three-year Tranent Tree Town Project. Prizes were awarded thanks to Macplants, which sponsored the competition, and winners received trays of plants as well as tickets to The Fraser Centre’s cinema.
