A motorist allegedly involved in up to 10 collisions during a high-speed pursuit across Belfast must remain in custody, a High Court judge ruled today.
Refusing to grant bail, Mr Justice Fowler highlighted how he was said to have driven at 75mph in 30mph zones.
He has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, using a motor vehicle without insurance, and six counts of failing to stop, remain or report following an accident.
O’Neill allegedly failed to stop despite knowing there had been 10 separate accidents during the pursuit.
But Mr Justice Fowler ruled he poses too great a risk of committing further offences.
