The press services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action, or ANAMA, issued a joint statement, Report informed. The incident occurred on August 12, 2026, in the territory of Gizilgaya village in the liberated Khojavand district. As a result of the incident, Tovuz district residents Sanan Farajov, born in 1989, and Fuad Ahmadov, born in 2003, were injured. An investigation into the case is underway at the Khojavand District Prosecutor's Office.
