Paralympic Games bronze medallist Eniola Bolaji will remain in Peru until 15 August to attend a high-level para badminton training camp, President of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN), Francis Orbih, has disclosed. Bolaji earned the opportunity after winning the Peru Para Badminton International 2026 on Sunday, 9 August, defeating Brazil’s Kauana Beckenkamp 2-0 (21-12, 21-12) in the final. Orbih said the training camp is being organised through a partnership involving the Badminton Confederation Africa (BCA), Badminton PanAm and the BFN. He described the programme as a high-level camp for leading para badminton players, adding that it would provide Bolaji with valuable preparation for the remaining competitions on her calendar this year. “It is a high-level para badminton camp for top para badminton players,” Orbih said.
