‌It’s a criminal offence to own or possess an XL bully dog in Wales and England unless you have a valid certificate of exemption, however Stephen and his ex-wife Rebecca Powell, who is Chloe's mother, said their dog is a pocket bully breed and not an XL bully. Parkdean Resorts, owner of Trecco Bay Holiday Park, has apologised and offered a voucher for the family to return. "They told Stephen and Chloe they were to leave the park as their dog is a banned XL bully. However the dog is a pocket bully and Stephen has all the dog's paperwork to prove this. Rebecca said the family had been left shocked by the incident and said never before had they had any issues over the breed of their dog.
