HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2026) Chairman District Crisis Communication Committee and Additional Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Saddam Hussain Memon, has appealed parents to extend full cooperation to health department teams and ensure that their children receive Polio booster dose on the scheduled dates to protect them from polio. He urged parents to cooperate with polio teams and ensure that their children receive the recommended booster dose. He further said that health department teams will reach children at designated locations in the targeted areas. He said that district administration and health department have taken all necessary measures for effective monitoring of the campaign, guidance of field teams and mobilization of public cooperation. He once again appealed parents to play their part in the national effort to eradicate polio by ensuring that their children up to 10 years of age receive Polio Booster Dose on the scheduled dates.
