Two fire engines from Chester and another from Ellesmere Port attended the scene in Cliveden Road, Lache shortly after 2pm. A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A small fire in a garden that spread to a building required firefighters to use one hose reel and a covering water jet to extinguish it. “They used a large fan to remove smoke from nearby premises and a thermal imaging camera to check the temperature of a kitchen area.”
