Stewart’s representatives confirmed that doctors are pleased with his recovery and that he has already returned to his normal daily activities. Still, he has been advised to take the next four weeks to recuperate and regain full fitness before returning to the stage. The cancellations come days after Stewart postponed his Aug. 9 performance at Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center because of what was initially described as an “unforeseen but minor medical procedure.” The affected dates include Stewart’s upcoming six-show residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, as well as additional North American and Mexican performances scheduled through early September. “I’m already feeling better and very much on the mend,” Stewart said in a statement.
