A major national museum which generates millions of pounds for the Forest’s economy is pulling out of Beaulieu. The charitable trust that runs the National Motor Museum made the shock announcement of plans to relocate this week – although it’s new location is, as yet, unknown. “He founded the National Motor Museum Trust to do just that, but its collections and activities have expanded beyond what anyone at the time envisaged,” he said.
