Canadian exploration company, Ongwe Minerals is set to start drilling for gold after gold discovered earlier this year.
Ongwe has accelerated its exploration programme at the newly discovered Nguni gold prospect, situated 17 km east of the Manga gold discovery at its Omatjete gold project.
Situated 55 km east of Kokoseb, Nguni is being rapidly advanced through detailed surface work and drilling with the goal of converting the target into a large-scale economic discovery.
“We are excited about initiating the first ever drill programme at Nguni and will ring Nguni with RC and diamond drilling to get detailed geological information in this area of very limited outcrop.”
Ongwe Minerals is a Canadian-listed gold exploration company focused on the discovery and advancement of new gold systems in Namibia.
