EGOT winner Steven Spielberg is adding another honor to his list of lifetime achievements: The iconic filmmaker has been named the honoree for the 2026 MoMA Film Benefit, presented by lead sponsor Chanel. The annual event celebrates the most influential figures working in cinema while raising support for the museum’s film collection and programming. This year’s benefit, set for Nov. 12, is sure to pack the room with Hollywood’s biggest names. Chanel has supported the benefit since 2011 and served as the museum’s lead sponsor of film since 2021. Spielberg released his latest film, “Disclosure Day,” earlier this summer, and also served as an executive producer for the recent Apple TV+ series “Cape Fear.”
