When Vancouver's Vincent Yen Tek Chiu was sentenced to more than 14 years in 2022, U.S. prosecutors said he was a kingpin who led a major international drug trafficking operation.
Now he is back in B.C., out on parole and working as a labourer.
The Parole Board of Canada recently granted Chiu full parole after a successful six months on day parole.
