With the Asia Sourcing Show, GFT and Asia Fashion Thailand bringing the industry together, there was a clear sense that Thailand sees an opening as global sourcing shifts. Thailand’s 2025 export data show apparel exports growing by about 5.6 percent, while textile exports softened, declining by 2-3 percent. Apparel exports reached $2.30 billion, while textile exports stood at around $3 billion. Asia Sourcing was more of, ‘How do we make sure that Asia as a whole benefits from this new paradigm shift?’ Wanthip Chawaleemaporn, deputy managing director of RTD Textile Industry Co., Ltd., showed a similar ability to adapt and change.
