As e-commerce expands, issues pile up for both online merchants and their customers. Early Wednesday, Veho Tech Inc. announced an integration with the e-commerce giant Shopify that offers real-time delivery tracking data directly through Shopify’s platform. The service requires no process changes for merchants, the parties say, as delivery data flows through systems they have already installed. Using NRS’s integration with Uber Eats, NRS client merchants can list their products on Uber Eats and make real-time changes, NRS says. “Independent retailers have long been underserved by the digital-commerce revolution,” says Hashim Amin, head of grocery and retail at Uber for North America, in a statement.
