Dean Jones, aged 42, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court accused of nine offences involving sexual assault and images of child sexual abuse. Jones was accused of four charges of sexually assaulting a girl aged under 13, as well as a charge of inciting a girl aged under 13 to engage in sexual activity and engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a teenage girl. He was further charged with three offences of making indecent images of children, relating to 253 Category A – the most serious, 250 Category B, and 339 Category C images of child sexual abuse. The alleged offences took place between 2011 and 2024, the prosecution said. The case was sent to Swansea Crown Court, and Jones will appear to enter his pleas on September 11.
