Michelle Durbin, 62, died in hospital after suffering a traumatic injury in the fall weeks earlier. ‌A brief hearing at Pontypridd Coroner's Court on Wednesday was told that Ms Durbin, who lived in Aberdare, was riding her horse on July 21 when she fell from the animal, causing her to sustain a traumatic brain injury. ‌Ms Durbin was taken to hospital, but treatment was unsuccessful and she died on August 4, the inquest was told. Ms Morgan passed her condolences to Ms Durbin's family and friends.
