Resident applies to council to operate childminding business from home

Applicant Claire Painter has submitted a bid to the local authority’s planning department for a business at Easter Street in Duns.
The childminding service would accommodate a maximum of 11 children, not necessarily all at once.

Children would be cared for within the existing living accommodation rear garden, using rooms already in domestic use — living room, kitchen, hallway and bathroom.
