Police officers attended a property in the town on Tuesday (August 11) following the death. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended a property in the Gala Park area of Galashiels on Tuesday (August 11), following the death of a 60-year-old man. “The death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.” A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We received a call at 14:00 on Tuesday 11 August to attend an incident on Gala Park Court, Galashiels.
