On June 6, 2018, at around 4.30 am, the 17-year-old girl stepped outside her home to dispose of garbage. The girl managed to escape and returned home, where she informed her family about the incident. The next day, around a dozen people, including the accused, visited their home armed with sticks and assaulted the family. Failure to pay the fine would result in an additional three months of imprisonment”, said the spokesperson of Nuh police.
