The Peak hosted an open-house BMX event on Aug. 4, 2026, from 6 p.m. through 8 p.m., with the opportunity to join the Beginners League. The Beginners League is designed for first-time riders and guarantees a USA BMX Membership, a League long-sleeve shirt, number plate, small group coaching, and a free first race. The open house also allowed people curious about or inexperienced with BMX to participate and provided loaner helmets and bikes for those without their own. Riders were to follow the appropriate dress code, including long pants and long sleeves, and closed-toe shoes (no Crocs). Nearby staff of experienced BMX riders supported the children by riding alongside them, establishing safety protocols and regulations.
