The Stockton community came together last weekend for the annual Stockton Days celebration, a two-day event featuring live music, games, food vendors and activities for everyone of all ages. The celebration took place Aug. 7-8 at the Alex Baker Memorial Ballpark, located at 290 S. Copper St. in Stockton. A cornhole tournament followed at 6 p.m. and then a 5K fun run at 7 p.m.Saturday’s festivities began early with a fireman’s breakfast at 8 a.m., followed by the annual parade, which took place at 10 a.m. Leading out the parade was Stockton Grand Marshal Barry J. Thomas. Just as it has for many years, Stockton Days provided an opportunity for Stockton residents and visitors to gather, socialize and celebrate their community.
